About the Role
Painting Drive is seeking an Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai. This position involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to plan and execute interior design projects, with a focus on integrating Painting Drive’s specialized wood polishing and painting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand requirements and project goals.
- Develop design concepts and prepare layout plans.
- Select finishes, furnishings, and color schemes aligned with painting and polishing services.
- Coordinate with painters, carpenters, and vendors.
- Review construction drawings.
- Ensure designs are implemented accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Visit project sites regularly to oversee work quality.
- Resolve design challenges.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders throughout projects.
Qualifications
- Skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings.
- Skills in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with residential or commercial interiors is an advantage.
- Familiarity with painting and finishing materials is an advantage.
