About the Role

The Foreign Exchange Specialist role at FXpertise Solution is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily foreign exchange operations.
• Process outward remittances.
• Manage currency orders.
• Support multi-currency card and corporate FX transactions.
• Monitor currency markets.
• Provide rate quotations.
• Analyze customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with RBI and internal policies.
• Advise customers on FX options.
• Resolve customer queries.
• Coordinate with banks and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and transaction records.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Support customer education on secure and cost-effective FX solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in using financial and transaction management software.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Foreign Exchange Management and Currency handling.
• Clear understanding of RBI and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Solid foundation in Finance, including knowledge of cross-border payments, remittances, and basic financial products.
• Proven Analytical Skills to interpret currency trends, assess risk, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Experience or familiarity with Trading concepts related to foreign exchange, including rate negotiation and market monitoring.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain FX products and processes clearly.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in FX, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
