Internship Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented GRC Interns interested in building a career in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. During the three-month internship, selected candidates will work alongside our cybersecurity and compliance teams, gaining hands-on experience in security assessments, audit readiness, risk management, and AI-assisted compliance automation. Interns will gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity projects involving ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, RBI, SEBI CSCRF, GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance reviews, and gap assessments.
• Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other regulatory compliance activities.
• Collect, organize, and validate audit evidence and supporting documentation.
• Maintain compliance trackers and identify missing controls, overdue actions, and documentation gaps.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support internal audits, including preparing checklists, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions.
• Participate in third-party/vendor risk assessments and security questionnaire reviews.
• Assist with mapping security controls across multiple regulatory frameworks.
• Document cybersecurity risks, findings, and recommended remediation actions.
• Explore AI-assisted tools for compliance automation, risk assessments, and reporting.
• Complete a structured project involving compliance mapping, risk assessment, or audit readiness.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, cloud computing, and information security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with structured documentation.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or Google Workspace.
• Ability to research, understand, and summarize technical or regulatory information.
• Willingness to learn cybersecurity frameworks, audit methodologies, and GRC tools.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and follow up on assigned responsibilities.
• Prior professional experience in cybersecurity or GRC is not required.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, GDPR, or DPDP.
• Basic exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Academic projects involving cybersecurity, risk management, or information security.
• Interest in AI-powered cybersecurity and compliance automation.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. – Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• BCA / MCA / B.Sc. IT or equivalent qualifications.
• Students from other relevant disciplines with a strong interest in cybersecurity and compliance may also apply.
• Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Internship & Full-Time Opportunity

Internship (First 3 Months)

• Monthly stipend: ₹12,000
• Hands-on experience with live cybersecurity and compliance projects.
• Mentorship from experienced cybersecurity and GRC professionals.
• Exposure to enterprise security practices and AI-powered compliance technology.
• Opportunity to work on customer-facing compliance assignments under supervision.

Full-Time Conversion (Based on Performance)

• Position: GRC Associate / Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst
• Salary: ₹40,000 per month (₹4.8 LPA)
• Conversion subject to successful completion of the internship, performance evaluation, and company requirements.
