About the Role
The Chemistry Laboratory Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role supports daily laboratory operations, including preparing chemical solutions, setting up experiments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare chemical solutions.
- Set up experiments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle laboratory equipment under supervision.
- Record and report experimental data.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality control procedures.
- Label and store samples.
- Assist with inventory management of chemicals and consumables.
- Collaborate with chemists and other team members to meet project timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Laboratory skills: Safe handling of chemicals and basic experimental techniques.
- Laboratory equipment: Routine setup, calibration under guidance, and basic maintenance.
- Quality control skills: Attention to accuracy, compliance with protocols, and documentation of results.
- Analytical skills: Interpret data, identify inconsistencies, and support problem-solving in experiments.
- Communication skills: Reporting findings, following instructions, and collaborating with the laboratory team.
- Laboratory safety standards and chemical handling regulations is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field is preferred.
