About the Role
Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. This role offers daily pay and provides a fulfilling opportunity to assist patients. The Housekeeper will serve as a reassuring presence while cleaning patient rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs routine janitorial and cleaning activities in patient, public, and common areas using prescribed, established cleaning processes.
- Performs discharge cleaning processes in inpatient rooms and prepares rooms for next admissions.
- Performs room set up and changes as needed, including changing linens, cleaning, mopping, and furnishing.
- Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure.
- Notifies supervisor or manager of any equipment, furniture, or building fixtures that are in need of maintenance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Full Time Role - 40 Hours a Week
- 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM
- Weekends/Holiday rotation
- Requires Direct Patient Interaction
Qualifications
- No Experience Supervisor Experience
- No Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
