About the Role
Third Silence Pictures is seeking a freelance, project-based Promo/Teaser Editor for a completed independent live-action short film (21 min, Hindi). The role focuses on crafting impactful visual stories for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut an official promo/teaser that captures the film's tone and mood.
- Deliver festival and social-ready versions as required.
- Re-time and re-place the English subtitles (draft SRT ready, edit has changed) to match the final cut.
- Deliver a clean final SRT.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Comfort working with SRT files and subtitle timing.
- Understanding of music selection and basic sound mixing for promos.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience editing teasers, trailers, or promos, ideally for independent or art-house work.
- Strong sense of pacing, restraint, and visual storytelling.
- Comfort with Hindi dialogue is a plus.
