Junior Accountant

About the Role

KATCH GO is seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant to join their team in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial for assisting with daily accounting operations and contributing to the financial health of a pioneering ticketing solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations.
• Record financial transactions.
• Process invoices.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Support bank reconciliations.
• Prepare basic financial reports.
• Maintain accurate ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for expense tracking.
• Support audits.
• Maintain organized financial documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data entry.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other local regulatory requirements in India is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledgers.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to maintain organized records.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new tools, adapt to technology-driven processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
