About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Hindi audio recordings and review corresponding transcripts for accuracy.
• Correct errors in transcription, including misheard words, missing segments, and incorrect spellings.
• Verify and adjust word-level timing and alignment to match the audio precisely.
• Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across all tasks.
• Flag ambiguous audio, overlapping speech, or segments requiring special attention.
• Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across large volumes of transcript data.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Native or near-native fluency in Hindi with excellent listening comprehension.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with a focus on word-level accuracy.
• Comfortable working with exact timing and precise text-to-audio alignment.
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting instructions with consistency.
• Strong concentration and patience when working through lengthy audio files.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
• No prior AI or tech experience required.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a transcriptionist, court reporter, or stenographer.
• Background in subtitle editing, closed-captioning, or dubbing.
• Linguistics training or academic background in Hindi or related languages.
• Prior work with annotation platforms, labeling tools, or transcription software.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or media production workflows.
• Experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.
