Software Test Engineer

About the Role

Appinventiv is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, strong analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing to identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software applications.
• Create and execute test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure product quality.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure applications meet quality standards.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to improving testing processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts, test cases, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Selenium, or other testing tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new testing techniques.
