Field Services Engineer

About the Role

G3 MEDICAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED is a healthcare technology company specializing in advanced surgical and aesthetic laser solutions. The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of surgical and aesthetic laser systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Visiting customer locations to perform equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnosing technical issues, executing troubleshooting procedures, and providing timely technical support to resolve equipment problems.
• Documenting service work and maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinating with internal teams for parts and escalation.
• Offering customer training on proper equipment use and care.
• Ensuring consistent, professional interaction with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term service relationships.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Field service skills: on-site equipment installation, configuration, and servicing.
• Troubleshooting and technical support: identify, analyze, and resolve hardware or system issues.
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
• Customer service capabilities: communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build trust.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Willingness to travel within the region for on-site service visits.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent service calls.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Basic computer skills for service reporting and use of diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in healthcare environments.
• Hands-on experience with medical devices or laser equipment is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, or related field).
• Fresh engineering graduates / Diploma holders, B.Sc., graduates, Biomedical, Electronics background with interest in travel, work, and learning Lasers and Medical equipments are also welcome.
