Clinical Processing Technician

About the Role

Saving Sight is seeking a Clinical Processing Technician for the Vital Tears program. This is a full-time role focused on creating Autologous Serum Eye Drops, a specialized treatment that improves patient quality of life. This position is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals interested in laboratory operations, medical processing, or healthcare production.

Schedule

• Tuesday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Pay: $19.43/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform process-driven laboratory tasks to prepare and handle blood-derived products.
• Follow aseptic techniques and strict quality standards in a clean, regulated lab setting.
• Label, package, and prepare medical products for shipment to patients.
• Complete routine equipment checks and cleaning procedures.
• Accurately document each step of the process to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Interest or background in laboratory work, specimen processing, medical manufacturing, assembly, or production.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort following step-by-step procedures.
• Ability to work independently while staying focused in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic computer skills and confidence with accurate documentation.
• Pride in producing high-quality work where accuracy matters.
• No prior medical certification required; training is provided.
• Must not require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.
