About the Role

SRI BALAJI ENGINEERING WORKS is a growing engineering and fabrication company focused on precision sheet metal components and assemblies. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed sheet metal designs, drawings, and 3D models for fabrication and assembly.
• Interpret client requirements.
• Prepare design layouts.
• Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
• Review prototypes and make design modifications based on feedback.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all design changes.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure compliance with standards and safe design practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX or similar tools) for developing detailed sheet metal designs, drawings, and 3D models.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing best practices.
• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with industrial standards and drafting conventions.
• Problem-solving skills for optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and structural integrity.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate design records and documentation.
• Prior experience in a fabrication or engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sheet metal design.
