Machine Learning Intern

About the Role

The Machine Learning Intern will support the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning models aligned with Weskill’s training and product initiatives. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability, proactive communication, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and preparing datasets.
• Implementing and testing algorithms.
• Experimenting with deep learning frameworks.
• Documenting results and insights.
• Collaborating with mentors and cross-functional teams to translate problem statements into data-driven solutions.
• Enhancing learning content with practical machine learning examples.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts such as supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
• Understanding of Deep Learning techniques, neural networks, and common frameworks.
• Proficiency in Statistics, including probability, hypothesis testing, and basic statistical modeling.
• Ability to design, analyze, and optimize Algorithms for data processing and model training.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote teams.
