• The role involves working within a newly formed team, with the employee seconded to Advamat s.r.o. during the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective transfer and adaptation of scientific and technical knowledge from plasma diagnostics in PVD deposition systems (especially magnetron devices in HiPIMS, MF, and RF modes) to a partner company.
• Participate in the design, construction, and development of diagnostic devices for measurements in reactive deposition plasma and pulsed magnetron discharges.
• Design and implement electronic circuits and hardware for diagnostic probes.
• Develop control computer programs for the diagnostic devices.
• Create software for processing measured signals and scientific data, and their subsequent physical interpretation.
• Optimize the diagnostic measurement system, increase its reliability, and ensure robust operation in demanding industrial conditions, particularly in technological equipment using pulsed plasma for thin-film deposition.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Master's degree in a technical or natural science field (e.g., physics, electrical engineering, electronics, or related fields).
• Max. six years of professional experience after graduation.
• Knowledge in:
• Plasma physics
• Gas discharge physics
• Plasma diagnostics
• Thin-film preparation physics and technology
• Microelectronics
• Vacuum technology
• Proven experience in electronics and electronic circuit theory.
• Basic knowledge of programming and experimental data processing.
• Proven experience with the design and construction of:
• Electronic circuits
• Vacuum systems
• Control software
• English language proficiency at least at B1 level.
