Associate Backend Developer

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Associate Backend Developer for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in backend development, software engineering, APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, system integration, automation, and modern software-development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise systems, automation solutions, and digital tools.
• Work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic to good knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, C++, PHP, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, functions, classes, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, clean code, and software-development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API design, API integration, and system integration.
• Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases will be beneficial.
• Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, and basic data-access concepts will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and contribute to practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend solutions.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages, backend frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.

• Application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching strategies, scalability, reliability, observability, and troubleshooting.
• ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns.
• Frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
• Automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications.
• Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking.
• Internship, academic project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, software project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in backend development, backend engineering, software engineering, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles can apply.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Final-year students completing their degree and available for full-time employment may also apply.
• Candidates without previous full-time backend-development experience can also apply.
