About the Role
Commi 1 & 2 Pastry & Bakery at Anyday Cafe' Gurgaon, by Bright Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts as per standard recipes.
- Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs’ guidance.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
- Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage, and labeling procedures.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
- Minimize wastage through proper portion control and handling.
- Support basic training of junior staff when required.
- Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Culinary Arts / Hotel Management diploma preferred.
- Innovative mindset with basic knowledge of menu planning and menu costing.
- Ability to work under pressure and for long hours in a kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in a branded restaurant or hotel.
- Candidates preferred from Gurgaon, Delhi or nearby / ready to relocate.
- Urgent joining, earliest joiner.
Work Location: Sector 28, Gurgaon
Employment Type: Full-time, Work at Office
Work days/hours: 6 days, flexible shift, weekends may require late evening work.
