About the Role

The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) is a part-time role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making at SG Armaturen Finland. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while requiring reliable availability for virtual meetings and regular communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
• Maintain accurate and accessible data sets.
• Prepare basic reports and dashboards.
• Identify trends in sales, operations, and product performance.
• Present findings in a clear, concise format for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members across functions to clarify data requirements.
• Support ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational data analysis skills:
• Basic statistical understanding
• Data cleaning
• Interpretation of trends
• Technical skills:
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or BI platforms

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present findings in written reports and simple visual formats to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Relevant education in fields such as data analytics, statistics, business, engineering, or information systems (completed or in progress) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with the lighting industry, manufacturing, or related technical environments is a plus.
• Experience with basic database or query tools is a plus.
