Role Description
Full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role involves preparing patients for sleep studies, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout testing. The Sleep Technician will set up and calibrate polysomnography equipment, monitor EEG and other physiological parameters during sleep, and document observations in accordance with established protocols. Daily responsibilities include recognizing and responding to sleep disorders and events in real time, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate, confidential patient records. The role also requires collaboration with sleep medicine professionals and other clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for sleep studies.
- Explain procedures to patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout testing.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in polysomnography and sleep disorders.
- Skills in EEG and sleep medicine.
- Foundational knowledge in medicine.
- Familiarity in patient care and infection control practices is beneficial.

- Ability to follow standardized protocols.
- Competence in using medical equipment and electronic health records.

Qualifications
- A relevant degree or certification or diploma in sleep technology, neurophysiology, or a related allied health field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a sleep lab or clinical environment is beneficial.
