About the Role
StruFin provides e-commerce accounting for international clients, including Shopify and Amazon sellers, payment gateways, and multi-currency payouts. We are hiring an Accounting Associate for our Jorhat office who wants to build real reconciliation, bookkeeping, and reporting skills and grow with us over the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe/PayPal)
- Reconcile marketplace settlement reports against the general ledger
- Assist in monthly P&L preparation and reporting
- Support inventory and COGS tracking across SKUs and channels
- Work daily in Excel and Xero, plus internal reconciliation tools
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com graduate (freshers welcome)
- Understands debit/credit rules and can prepare a basic bank reconciliation statement
- Comfortable in Excel: SUM/SUMIF, VLOOKUP, and basic Pivot Tables
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn
- Based in Jorhat — permanent residents of Jorhat preferred
- Looking for a long-term role and able to commit to a minimum of 2 years
