About the Role

URA VU is seeking a Social Media Content Creator for a full-time, in-office role. This position involves managing social media pages and acting as the face of the brand on social media. The ideal candidate understands aesthetics, luxury, and possesses strong communication skills. Candidates must have a proven track record of building/growing a brand or public profile on social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Script, shoot, and edit short-form videos (reels, carousels, stories) for Instagram, primarily using a phone.
• Write hooks and captions in a hushed, intimate brand voice, with short, spacious copy.
• Track trending reel formats and adapt successful ones to the brand's style.
• Develop multiple content pieces from a single idea, including behind-the-scenes, reactions, bloopers, and story-times.
• Handle posting, scheduling, and provide a simple weekly analysis of content performance (reach, watch time, saves, shares).
• Collaborate directly with the founder to plan the content calendar.
• Create content for the founder's social media handle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A demonstrable Instagram page (personal or brand) with self-created reels, showcasing hooks, pacing, and editing.
• Willingness to be the face of the brand for social media content.
• Hands-on video editing experience with tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong scripting and copywriting abilities, with an understanding of what captures attention in the first 2 seconds of a reel.
• A feel for luxury and emotion-led storytelling, avoiding discounts and hard-sell tactics.
• Comfort with shooting using basic lighting, a phone, and a tripod.
• Curiosity about trends, formats, and shareable video content.
• Good Communication Skills in English.

Optional skills include motion graphics, voiceover, photography, Canva, or Photoshop.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in creating content related to fashion & lifestyle.
• Must have built or grown a brand or their own public profile on social media.

Location

• In-office, West Mambalam, Chennai.

Engagement

• The first 3 months are an internship/probation period.
• The role becomes permanent with a salary increase upon successful completion.
• Growth opportunities are available for early team members as the company scales.
