About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs and drawings.
- Support project planning.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper implementation.
- Conduct site visits.
- Assist with surveys and measurements.
- Monitor construction progress.
- Ensure work conforms to design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Contribute to problem-solving for structural and infrastructure challenges.
- Assist with quality control, documentation, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Civil Engineering Design.
- Skills in Civil Engineering fundamentals.
- Skills related to working as Civil Engineers in project execution and coordination.
- Skills in Planning and project scheduling for civil works.
- Skills in Stormwater Management and related drainage design.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar CAD tools).
- Familiarity with design or analysis software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, including coordination with site and office teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata and conduct regular field visits.
