About the Role

A full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District. The Safety Officer will oversee health, safety, and security practices across interior and civil project sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting safety inspections.
• Identifying hazards.
• Implementing preventive measures to reduce risks.
• Investigating accidents and incidents.
• Preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Delivering safety training and awareness sessions to site staff and contractors.
• Maintaining safety documentation.
• Coordinating with project managers.
• Supporting continuous improvement in safety culture.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training and toolbox talks.
• Familiarity with local safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence safe behavior on site.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently on multiple sites within Pune District.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
• Experience in Security management related to construction and interior project sites.
• Relevant diploma or degree in occupational safety, industrial safety, or a related field.
• Recognized safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Experience working in construction, civil, or interior contracting environments is preferred.
