Business Analyst, IT/SQL

About the Role

This role involves functional support for business production activities related to RWA and Provision closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for business production activities for RWA and Provision closings.
• Perform functional analysis of user requests and provide resolutions.
• Implement enhancement requests in collaboration with developers.
• Create detailed business analyses outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
• Ensure accurate and consistent delivery of committed artifacts by adhering to agile development methodologies and paying attention to detail.
• Develop new testing scenarios by enhancing the efficiency of existing processes.
• Optimize existing business processes to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders.
• Manage various stakeholders from both IT and Business sides.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated functional knowledge and expertise in the domain.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of Change & Release Management processes.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• High level of self-drive.
• Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and process orientation.
• Strong fundamentals in Banking and Credit/Market Risk.
• Knowledge of end-to-end flow in your respective domain.
• Exposure to Agile methodology with requirements capturing using use cases and feature-driven methods.
• Experience in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Experience identifying and executing test strategies, test plans, and functional test cases.
• Experience preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
• Competency in writing SQL queries is a must.
• Must have exposure in an onshore/offshore model within a Banking captive context.
• Must have experience in Agile methodology and worked in a continuous delivery environment.
• Experience in Agile @Scale will be an added advantage.
• Team player and willing to go the extra mile to learn and deliver with a positive impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in compliance or regulatory projects is a big plus.
