About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking a Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and experienced professionals interested in software development across various domains including backend, frontend, web applications, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software applications, backend services, APIs, databases, dashboards, enterprise platforms, automation solutions, and internal digital systems.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Freshers and candidates with 0–5 years of experience in software engineering, software development, application development, backend development, frontend development, full stack development, web development, API development, or related technology roles.
• Programming Fundamentals: Basic to good knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, PHP). Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, functions, classes, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, clean code, and software-development fundamentals.
• Backend Frameworks: Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET is beneficial.
• Frontend Technologies: Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js is beneficial.
• API Concepts: Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• Databases: Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases is beneficial. Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, and basic query optimization is advantageous.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Testing: Exposure to JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Mockito, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing is beneficial.
• Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD is an advantage.
• Linux & Deployment: Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts is beneficial.
• Microservices & Distributed Systems: Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven applications is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Security Concepts: Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, authentication, authorization, and basic application-security concepts is beneficial.
• Performance & Optimization: Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, scalability, reliability, caching strategies, observability, and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Additional Skills: Exposure to automation, scripting, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications is an additional advantage.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Problem-Solving: Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication & Teamwork: Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability: Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
• Learning Agility: Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
• Project Experience: Internship, academic project, software project, coding project, backend project, frontend project, full stack project, API project, database project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory. Candidates without previous full-time software-development experience can also apply.
• Work Environment: Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
