Graphic Artist Intern

About the Role

The Graphic Artist Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This position involves creating visual assets for digital and print channels, including marketing materials, social media graphics, and website content. The intern will support the development of brand-aligned imagery, assist with logo and icon creation, and contribute to design concepts for campaigns that highlight our charitable mission. The role offers hands-on experience in a creative environment where design work directly supports philanthropic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visual assets for digital and print channels.
• Develop marketing materials, social media graphics, and website content.
• Support the development of brand-aligned imagery.
• Assist with logo and icon creation.
• Contribute to design concepts for campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams.
• Refine existing designs.
• Prepare files for production.
• Ensure visual consistency across all platforms.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Image Editing using common design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools).
• Experience or coursework in Graphic Design, including layout design for digital and print media.
• Basic skills or interest in Logo Design and brand identity development.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in Graphics and Graphic Arts, with an understanding of visual composition and color theory.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Ability to contribute creative ideas that support social impact messaging.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in a collaborative team setting.
• Interest in philanthropy, social good, and inclusive design practices is highly beneficial.
