About the Role
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Water Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Team in Albany, NY. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience and build technical skills by working alongside experienced engineers on water and wastewater projects that support critical community infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Support the development of technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates.
- Apply engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to complete design and analysis tasks for water and wastewater systems.
- Gain hands-on experience through field visits, site investigations, and collaboration with project teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
- No experience required; prior internships and/or relevant coursework preferred.
- Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team.
- Participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus.
Qualifications
