About the Role

This position will assist the development team in Quality Assurance of the company's software offering. This role will work with an international team to bring the power of IoT in the Pharmaceutical space to enable more efficient and effective production flow, as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer-facing capabilities. We are seeking a Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team. This level role provides the opportunity for exposure to fundamental principles and concepts. The ideal candidate will have good programming skills and will work closely with our senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in the Quality Assurance team to implement manual and programmed automation testing.
• Perform automated testing programming.
• Work on real-life projects and a dedicated team for Agile/Waterfall software development.
• Collaborate with the Test Automation Architects and assist in Framework development and Implementation using Python, Pytest, Azure DevOps, and Robot Framework.
• With guidance, write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that meets design specifications and adheres to coding standards.
• Assist to develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is tested thoroughly and meets quality standards.
• Support to troubleshoot and debug software issues to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• Basic programming ability in Python.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server.
• Basic understanding of Microfocus ALM, UFT (Testing Tool), and VBScript.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Shift: Occasional on-call work required. Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
