Associate Account Executive

About the Role

Datassential is seeking an Associate Account Executive to generate an outbound pipeline for Account Executives selling the food and beverage industry's most trusted intelligence platform. The first year focuses on prospecting, generating pipeline, and learning the industry and sales process. The role is designed to lead into a full-cycle selling seat.

Key Responsibilities

• Own outbound pipeline for approximately three or more Account Executives, including calls, sequences, and social selling to F&B operators, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Ramp quickly on Datassential's data and use cases, identifying which buyer cares about which solution.
• Hit daily and weekly activity targets while maintaining quality.
• Research accounts and build target lists using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tooling.
• Qualify interest and book meetings for Account Executives.
• Act as a pipeline partner to Account Executives, sharing account intelligence.
• Build industry fluency and fundamentals for a future full-cycle role.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated outbound prospecting experience (SDR/BDR or full-cycle sales with outbound responsibility).
• Track record of ramping quickly, or clear early signals of potential.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound and discipline to meet activity targets.
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills.
• Bias toward action: curious, coachable, resourceful, and unbothered by rejection.
• Clear ambition toward a full-cycle selling role.
• Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove, or AI research tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in food and beverage, hospitality, or CPG is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS, data, or another subscription business is a plus.

Compensation & Eligibility

• Base salary range: $55,000–$60,000 USD, plus commission.
• Actual compensation based on skills, relevant experience, and work location.
• Open to candidates residing in and authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
