COOK (FULL TIME)

About the Role

Eurest is hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position at Applied Materials.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday - Friday, and some weekends if needed
• Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
• Willing to train.
• HACCP standards
• Cut-resistant gloves for handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning slicers.
• Oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves for handling hot items.
• Slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
• Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure quality food service is provided at all times.
• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty.
• Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service.
• Responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
• Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat.
• Ensure food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.

Compensation

• Fixed Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
