E/M IP & OP QA

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Medical Coding QA professionals specializing in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) services or Radiology coding. Candidates must have prior QA experience and the required RL and CPC credentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits of medical coding records for accuracy and compliance.
• Review E/M IP & OP or Radiology coding based on the assigned specialization.
• Identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to coding professionals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable coding guidelines and client-specific requirements.
• Track quality scores, identify recurring errors, and support corrective action plans.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and coding process standardization.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mandatory prior experience in medical coding quality assurance (QA).
• Specialization in E/M IP & OP coding or Radiology QA.
• RL and CPC certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding guidelines and auditing procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear audit feedback.
