About the Role
A fully remote position for a creative Mobile Video Editor at The Kahanikaars (formerly Kahanikaars × Shour India). The role focuses on transforming raw footage into engaging, viral-worthy Instagram Reels.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels entirely on a mobile phone.
- Create engaging, trend-driven short-form videos.
- Incorporate captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and other creative elements.
- Apply understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Adapt editing styles for different brands and content formats.
- Implement feedback and meet deadlines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in CapCut.
- Familiarity with Instagram Edits app.
- Comfortable using both apps for mobile video editing on a phone.
- A laptop is not required.
Qualifications
- Genuine enjoyment of editing Reels.
- Understanding of current Instagram trends.
- Ability to edit quickly while maintaining quality.
- Creativity, consistency, and openness to feedback.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Training Period: 10 Days (Unpaid)
Stipend: ₹3,000/month (upon successful completion of training)
Working Hours: Flexible
