About the Role

Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) offering end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions. The Global Emerging Leader role involves trainees working on Business Impact Projects across Piramal Pharma Solutions sites in core areas of chemical engineering to solve live business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate continuous improvement and high-impact projects across different functions and locations based on principles of chemical engineering, Lean Six Sigma, TPM, and OE.
• Ensure delivery of business process improvement initiatives through the implementation of agreed synergies.
• Demonstrate leadership in the application of technology to tackle manufacturing problems.
• Partner with site leadership teams and managers to identify process improvements, KRAs, and KPIs, focusing on improving and automating packaging and other operations to make them error-free.
• Explore and implement cost-saving opportunities across different products at the site.
• Analyze current processes in production and quality functions and identify areas for automation to improve overall plant efficiency, compliance, and productivity.
• Work on projects to minimize the operating cost of the plant in terms of utility generation, utility distribution, maintenance and repair, and enhanced monitoring of processes.
• Conceptualize and manage cross-functional business initiatives in project mode using analytical techniques.
• Identify gaps and possibilities for process automation in the current Order to Delivery (OTD) process.
• Optimize inventory levels for different raw materials (intermediates, APIs, excipients, etc.) while ensuring satisfactory service levels for customers.
