About the Role
The Junior Software Engineer internship at Coders Boutique is a remote role focused on supporting the design and development of web-based solutions. Interns will assist in implementing back-end features, writing and testing code, fixing bugs, and contributing to the improvement of existing systems.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), such as classes, inheritance, encapsulation, and design patterns.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code, follow coding standards, and use version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote, distributed team.
- Interest in UI/UX and modern web technologies is a plus.
- Any experience with frontend frameworks or tooling is a plus.
