Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installations on Trucks, buses, Ground support units, construction equipment, and mining equipment.
- Carry out annual checks on AFDSS systems at customer premises according to instructions.
- Carry out service on AFDSS systems at customer premises according to instructions.
- Increase customer contacts via visits or phone.
- Participate in planning for departmental business meetings.
- Provide suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure warehouse and service equipment are in good condition.
- Place orders for the warehouse.
- Assess installations and document them according to specified requirements.
- Assess the status of installed systems in vehicles/equipment.
- Implement planned or emergency measures on installed systems.
- Provide customer communication in the field of technical support.
- Make emergency decisions about replanning and notify the Service Manager.
- Ensure service/installations are carried out according to the service/installation manual.
- Report errors according to the deviation routine.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in automatic fire detection and suppression systems (AFDSS) on Electric trucks, Mining equipment, Port equipment (e.g., Reach stackers, Forklifts, RTGs), and Construction equipment (e.g., Excavators, Loaders, dump trucks).
- Preferably with experience in Ansul, FOGMAKER, and Dafo fire suppression systems.
- Willing to travel across India.
- Willing to provide 24/7 support in case of emergency.
Qualifications
- ITI Fitter or Diesel Mechanic.
- Well versed with fire safety and installations of AFDSS.
- Working knowledge.
