This is a 5-month internship role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mentors and engineers to develop, test, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend microservices supporting access management and presigning authentication flows.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (C# / .NET) along with comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and security.
  • Instrument services with logging, telemetry, and metrics to monitor service health, debug issues, and ensure operational readiness across environments.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Document technical designs, system workflows, and APIs, concluding the internship with a presentation and demonstration of your completed project.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Development will be within C# / .NET, and Microsoft Azure Stack.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate (BS) or Graduate (MS) degree program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 and May/June 2028.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with at least one modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++, or Python).
  • Experience with web architecture, RESTful APIs, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and working with databases (relational SQL or NoSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and standard development environments.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Curiosity to learn new technologies.
  • Clear communication skills for effective collaboration.
