About the Role
This is a Permanent, fully onsite position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Actalent is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with an automotive custom machine manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Transitioning into controls, software, mechanical, or electrical engineering positions by leveraging academic knowledge.
- Playing a critical role in college projects.
- Gaining hands-on experience through co-ops or internships.
- Demonstrating passion for rapid growth as an engineer.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Fundamental understanding of PLC/ladder logic.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Clean driving record.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Experience from co-ops or internships.
- Demonstrated eagerness to develop new skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Range: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00/yr.
