About the Role
LUVIRA VELDOR is a fashion house dedicated to delivering exceptional design and quality at thoughtful, accessible prices. This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in the Greater Delhi Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing and developing collections that reflect LUVIRA VELDOR’s design philosophy, with a strong emphasis on distinctive silhouettes, refined details, and high-quality materials.
- Researching trends and fabrics.
- Sketching and rendering designs.
- Selecting textiles.
- Coordinating with pattern makers and tailors.
- Overseeing fittings to ensure exceptional fit and finish.
- Translating design concepts into well-constructed garments.
- Maintaining consistency across collections.
- Contributing creative ideas.
- Maintaining detailed design documentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement in craftsmanship and product quality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to sketch by hand and/or use digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD software) for technical and creative drawings.
- Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making basics, and production processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to create cohesive, original collections aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
- Experience with Embroidery and decorative detailing.
- Proficiency in Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, and material behavior.
- Hands-on expertise in Fitting, including prototyping, sample reviews, and final adjustments for precise silhouettes.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field (diploma or degree preferred).
- Attention to detail.
- Strong aesthetic judgment.
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative studio and workshop environment.
- Previous experience in high-end or premium fashion brands is an advantage.
