Electric Vehicles Service Technician

About the Role

Full-time, on-site role based in Patna.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance on electric vehicles.
• Conduct inspections and preventive servicing.
• Replace electric vehicle components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and software.
• Complete accurate service records.
• Respond to field service calls when required.
• Support safe workshop practices.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on new EV technologies and service guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Diagnostic tools, test equipment, and EV-specific software (highly beneficial).
• High-voltage systems and workshop operations safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong Maintenance & Repair skills for electric vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Ability to perform diagnostic assessments and effective Troubleshooting of EV-related faults and performance issues.
• Experience in Field Service activities.
• Customer Service skills.
• General Maintenance experience.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification in automotive, electrical, or EV technology (diploma or degree preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing technical training and development.
