Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for various data activities, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, database management, or database architecture/design engineering.
• Responsible for routine operational or administrative work.
• Day-to-day actions focused on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation.
• Work will be thoroughly reviewed and checked by more senior incumbents.
• Limited contact outside the immediate area.
• Daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while developing knowledge of the broader context.
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation, safeguarding Citigroup, clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

• UNIX/shell scripts (hands-on)
• Python (good to have)
• PySpark (good to have)
• SAS (good to have)

Qualifications

• Project management skills
• Good communication skills to manage vendors and partners.
• BFSI experience is preferred.
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
