About the Role
Sevita, through its ResCare Community Living division, provides quality services empowering individuals, enhancing independence, and helping people live well. We support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. Our person-centered services help people build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.
Pay Rate: $17.75/hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Help people grow, learn, and live well.
- Develop meaningful relationships with individuals served.
- Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist people with their personal hygiene.
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
