About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad. The Video Editor will handle the complete post-production process, including assembling raw footage, trimming clips, and structuring narratives that reflect the client’s brand and story.
Key Responsibilities
- Editing video for various formats.
- Applying transitions and effects.
- Syncing audio.
- Collaborating with directors, writers, and designers to maintain visual and tonal consistency.
- Color grading.
- Basic motion graphics work.
- Preparing final deliverables optimized for different platforms.
- Staying current with industry trends and editing techniques to enhance the quality and impact of productions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Qualifications
- Strong Video Production and Video Editing skills for assembling footage and crafting cohesive stories.
- Video Color Grading skills to ensure visual consistency, mood, and professional-quality output.
- Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support the narrative.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities.
- Capacity to work under deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
- Relevant education or practical experience in film, media, communication, or a related field.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing past work is required.
