iOS Developer, Internship

About the Role

Digital Factory is searching for an iOS Developer intern to work on the creation of software enhancements and mobile applications for internal and external client stakeholders. The intern will work with the CTO/Solution Architect and project stakeholders to understand requirements, architect solutions, and drive them through the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Take part in the design, development, and maintenance of an advanced mobile geolocation library.
• Recommend technology, process, tool, and frameworks improvements to efficiently deliver software.
• Implement BLE input and NFC input to deliver hyper-relevant information to users.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• At least 2 years of programming experience in Objective C and iOS Development.
• Substantial development experience with Swift and XCode.
• Two years GIS experience.
• Demonstrable understanding of common challenges with mobile/embedded devices, including power management, resource optimization and wireless network reliability.
• Bluetooth and NFC application development experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Has or is working to complete a Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Attained or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Information Technology or Computer Science or any related field.
• Applied work experience and/or education directly related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above.
• Experience with a start-up is a plus.
