About the Role
As a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Sevita, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, connected lives at home and in their community. Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and budgeting
- Help with meal preparation and personal care
- Administer medications after completing required training and certification
- Join individuals for community outings, appointments, and activities
- Follow each person's support plan and keep accurate notes
- Build trusting relationships and celebrate each person's progress
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of documented caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Able to pass required background checks

- Starting Pay: $18.65/hour
