About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the Westinghouse Parts Business, specifically within the Electrical Products Group. This role focuses on the design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of high-quality electrical products. You will report to the Manager, Product Engineering, and will be located at the New Stanton, PA facility. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, manufacturing, installation, troubleshooting, and project execution of electrical equipment and electrical distribution systems, including legacy electro-mechanical equipment.
- Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions for electrical products.
- Determine critical equipment characteristics to support nuclear equipment qualification and commercial grade dedication, including development of commercial dedication instructions.
- Develop engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for multiple electrical products.
- Provide technical engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Electrical distribution systems and equipment, including Low/Medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motors, motor-generator sets, and motor control centers.
- Communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively work in both a team setting and as an individual.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and recommended solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 0+ years of experience (internship or cooperative education program experience counts).
