About the Role

EY is seeking a Senior Business Consultant for their Global Delivery Services (GDS) team. GDS is a worldwide network of service delivery centers that plays a crucial role in EY's strategy by supporting the firm's growth agenda. The team provides consulting, assurance, tax, strategy & transactions, and knowledge support to clients globally, enabling account teams worldwide to deliver seamless, high-quality, value-added support.

Key Responsibilities

• Worked on multiple Business transformation, upgrade, and modernization programs.
• Requirements Gathering and Elicitation – writing BRDs and FSDs.
• Conducting JAD sessions and Workshops to capture requirements and working closely with the Product Owner.
• Work with the client to define the most optimal future state operational process and related product configuration.
• Define scope by providing innovative solutions and challenging new client requirements and change requests, ensuring client business value is delivered.
• Elaborate and deliver clearly defined requirement documents with relevant dataflow and process flow diagrams.
• Work closely with the product design development team to analyze and extract functional enhancements.
• Provide product consultancy and assist the client with acceptance criteria gathering and support throughout the project life cycle.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring teams have necessary tools and support, and optimizing and evaluating performance to meet organizational goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Product Knowledge: Guidewire, Duckcreek, Exigent, Majesco. (Preferred: Guidewire/Duckcreek)
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• End-to-end processes in P&C insurance domain.
• Data transformation, Business data modelling, Data mapping, transformation rules, data migration, data profiling, data visualisation.
• Tools: Tableau, Power-BI.
• Reporting.
• Basic understanding of SQL query.
• AI and Gen AI use cases implementation.
• Understanding of AI architecture for AI Use cases.
• Ready to work in flexible shifts (a good amount of overlap with US/UK hours).
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Industry certifications like AINS 21, AINS 22, AINS 23, and AINS 24 will be an added advantage.
• Additional experience in Life or other insurance domain is an added advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and build good relationships with the client.
