About the Role

As a Video Editor at Job Assistant, you will create, edit, and refine video content that explains platform features, shares job search tips, and showcases community success stories. This is a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage, trim and sequence clips, adjust audio, and apply transitions and effects.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align videos with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Maintain visual consistency and optimize videos for various digital channels.
• Meet project timelines.
• Work remotely, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams via digital tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Video Color Grading.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Experience with professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar.
• Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt visuals to different audiences and platforms.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage end-to-end Video Production and Video Editing workflows for digital content.
• Comfort working remotely and adherence to production schedules.
• Prior experience creating educational, tutorial, or marketing videos is beneficial.
• Familiarity with career development or recruiting content is a plus.
