Junior Software Developer with Security Clearance

About the Role

Prescient Edge is seeking a Junior Software Developer with an Active Top Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Applies working knowledge of web applications, relational databases, and related programming languages, tools, technologies, and standards.
• Develops interfaces to include interactive webpages and web services.
• Prepares and generates technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
• Interfaces with government and civilian agencies as required.
• Responsible for analysis, coding, testing, documenting processes, and applications from detailed requirements.
• Participates in the preparation of specifications, developing software through delivering customer focused end items.
• Learns and gains real world experience while working closely with other developers to solve complex data challenges for the Government, primarily focusing on aviation platforms with external sensors for data collection and surveillance, with opportunities in mobile and marine environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Sufficient writing skills to prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation.

Location

• McLean, VA.

Salary Range

• $70,000 - $75,000 (Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data).
