At FirstLight, we work with brands to plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns, connecting them with creators who are right for their objectives. We’re looking to grow these partnerships by reaching more brands, starting the right conversations, and building a strong pipeline of campaign opportunities. We’re looking for someone who can help us identify the right brands, reach the right decision-makers, and turn consistent outreach into meaningful business opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain our brand database
- Research relevant brands and agencies, identify decision-makers, find the right points of contact, and keep our database of leads accurate, organised, and up to date.
- Drive outbound outreach
- Reach out to prospective clients through cold emails and LinkedIn.
- Personalise communication, manage follow-ups, and build a consistent pipeline of potential partnerships.
- Plan business development campaigns
- Help plan and execute targeted email campaigns to generate brand enquiries, open up new opportunities for our creators, and improve conversions across our outreach efforts.
- Identify opportunities
- Research brands, track relevant developments, and identify potential opportunities for FirstLight across influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and brand campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and improve
- Maintain outreach trackers, monitor responses and conversions, and identify what's working and what can be improved. Bring thought to the process, not just activity.
What we’re looking for
- Strong written communication, especially over email and LinkedIn.
- Good research skills and an eye for detail.
- An organised approach to managing databases, leads, and follow-ups.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, email tools, and LinkedIn.
- A practical, analytical mindset with an interest in marketing and business development.
- Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and looks for ways to improve how things are done.
- Prior experience in business development for agencies, lead generation, or outbound sales is a must.
