Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve system performance, and deliver exceptional customer support.
• Support, maintain, and improve enterprise Windows infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot user issues.
• Administer Windows servers and workstations.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Deploy system updates.
• Support virtualization technologies.
• Ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
• Resolve daily challenges to improve the reliability, security, and performance of Booz Allen's enterprise computing environment.
• Gain experience in enterprise Windows and RHEL administration, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, enterprise endpoint management, and secure classified IT operations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 in enterprise or classified environments, including system hardening, SELinux, firewall management, logging, and secure configuration baselines.
• Experience performing regular Linux server patching, applying security updates, and remediating findings from compliance or security scans.
• Experience administering and maintaining Windows Server 2019 and 2022 systems, including configuration, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing Active Directory and Group Policy in secure enterprise environments.
• Experience administering RHEL Server, VMware, vSphere 8, Active Directory, and Group Policy in a secure or enterprise environment.
• Experience with server room or data center environments.
• Experience performing OS-level troubleshooting, including service failures, performance issues, and hardware or virtualization interactions across Linux and Windows.
• Experience using Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible playbooks to automate system configuration, patching, and routine administration tasks.
• Ability to support system deployment, security hardening, and ongoing maintenance of both Windows and RHEL systems within classified networks.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting web applications.
• Experience documenting technical processes or troubleshooting steps.
• Experience with VMware vSphere 8, including ESXi configuration, virtual networking, datastore management, and virtualization troubleshooting.
• Experience with tools such as Splunk, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Domain Controller technologies.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting tools to automate tasks.
• Ability to learn and apply technical research to solve problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and leadership in both written and verbal formats.
• Ability to display a problem-solving mindset and be willing to collaborate in a team setting.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV), or Cisco Certification such as CCNA Certification.

Clearance

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation

• Projected compensation range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
