About the Role
Aim Britz Study Abroad is a consultancy specializing in overseas education. The Student Counselor will provide end-to-end guidance to students exploring study opportunities abroad. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct counseling sessions.
- Explain admission and visa processes.
- Coordinate mock interviews.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Communicate regularly with students and families.
- Respond to inquiries.
- Offer timely follow-up to ensure a smooth admission journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support seminars, webinars, and outreach activities.
- Assist with documentation review and basic administrative tasks.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Familiarity with common office and online communication tools.
Qualifications
- Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English.
- Solid Customer Service skills.
- Good understanding of Education pathways and international study processes.
- Basic knowledge of admission and visa requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Education, Psychology, Management, or related fields, is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in overseas education or counseling is beneficial.
- Familiarity with UK and Canadian education systems is beneficial.
- Strong organizational abilities are beneficial.
